Paradox Ethereal "The Artist is the Creator of Beautiful things"
About Paradox Ethereal balances on the thin borderline between reality and self-transcendence. Everything and nothing of all these constitute a source of inspiration or spiritual motives towards a creative avocation
by Mary Vareli
The deeply unconventional character the team has developed is animated by the breaking of any kind of form, managing to preserve an aesthetic criterion which does not only derive just from the love for everything that can be merely characterized as “beautiful” but also tends to function as a mirror of our inner world, accepting all kinds of depictions.
Harmony is possibly the basic component that flows in the veins of self-expression and creates the need for expansion by means of alternative forms of communication. Every coded message, every obvious influence and every esoteric paradox becomes the means for an internal contact with the archetype each artist seeks when he/she approaches inspiration.
The frequencies approached by Paradox Ethereal are filtered by an atmosphere of romanticism containing at the same time an esoteric potential prone to lay the foundations for a hopeful evolutionary path. The activities of the team, both tangible and undefined, take place in “different” each time realities that swing from the throwing of ethereal, and not only, parties personal trips with a travelling, enquiring character, participating in photographic exhibitions and other activities.
The main purpose of all the above is the urge to gather every “sensitive” spirit; of the many we believe there are isolated in the long arm of “modern” society. Whoever feels the need for internal purity is possibly the one to be called to play an important role in the future.Nevertheless, the vivid imprinting of sentiments is materialized by means of art.
Since music weaves never-ending threads of inward eloquence let the notes “speak”, the notes of Dead Can Dance, Cocteau Twins, This Mortal Coil, Endraum, Engelsstaub, Black Tape for a blue girl, Stoa, Qntal, Ataraxia… the brushes of William Blake, Millais , Waterhouse, Munch, Magritte… or the words of Baudelaire, Yates , Michael Ende, Cocteau Alessandro Barrico, Alfred Tennyson and many more..
